HOW TO WASH & CARE FOR ORGANIC COTTON
GOTS certified organic cotton means it has not been grown or treated with any harsh toxic chemicals. Due to the natural and untreated nature of organic cotton it needs consideration with washing. We always recommend to:
- Hand wash using cold water. To prevent items from shrinking & keep them looking their best do not wash higher than 30
- Use a normal or mild detergent & pre-treat any stains prior to washing.
- Wash inside out
- Naturally air dry. Heat from tumble dryers can cause items to shrink.
For both longevity and environmental impact how, you dry your clothes is just as important as how you wash them. With organic fibres we always advise to let your GONE ROGUE clothing air dry, and do not tumble dry or dry clean.
